41 killed, 60 hurt as 2 blasts hit Hyderabd

At least 41 people died and 60 were injured in two blasts at two places in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. The first blast occurred at Lumbini Park near the state Secretariat and the second at Gokul Chat shop, a popular eating joint in Koti. Two unexploded bombs were also recovered - one from Mosarambag and another from foot over bridge at Dilshuk Nagar

Central security agencies on Saturday said that banned Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (Huji) militant outfit of Bangladesh was possibly behind the twin blast in Hyderabad in which 30 people were killed.

Sources said that there could be similarities between the explosives used in Mecca masjid blast in Hyderabad in May this year and Saturday night’s explosion. It was suspected that Shahid and Bilal, who were the masterminds of the the Mecca masjid blast were also behind Saturday’s explosion.

Shahid is reported to be Karachi and is instrumental in bringing people for arms training from Hyderabad.

CBI has already procured a red-corner notice from Interpol against Shahid.

WHF.. This is what will happen when entire police department sleeps and let terrorists sneak into our cities and plant bombs. Our country should take more proactive decisions regarding terrorism and this is not the first time happening. Wake up! and take measures against terrorism. Or it will destroy us all and we have to live in caves with our will to have freedom will die. Stop infiltration of terrorists in our country, assign more revenue to stop this acts.

It is very sad to hear, that almost 40 people lost their lives. Whoever responsible in planning and trig erring this Act is true follower of his bloodish religion and it proves how much cruelty is there in that religion. Because no ordinary human being has so much guts to axe other lives. It should either come from their parents blood or through brainstorming sessions from their religious heads.I dont think anybody can stop this cruelty unless the bloodish religion stops it. Secondly the politicians are the next in the list, because the first category people do for their religion, but politicians have no religion so these people are top on ter…So, in my view unless and until if these kind of bloodish religion and politicians exist on the earth, there is no guarantee to our lives.

Its really brutal. Coward activity again by terrorists. Its early to say an intelligence failure but no clear evidence so far on whose hand behind the blasts. They targeted crowd areas one of the most famous snack shop ‘GOKUL CHAT’ , every hyderabadi loves the chat. Deep condolences to the people who lost their lives. We can not stop this and we have to see a lot in the future because Indians are dumb and cowards. So dumb I can not even explain. At one time Indian people and politicians even went to extent to make a foreigner as country head. So cowards because they don’t even remember instances like Kargil, Bombay bombing and Delhi bombing. How many people still remember these? Now Hyderabad is another one. After couple weeks every thing is normal they will not even remember except the people who lost their love one’s. Wake up Oh Indian! do not spend your stupid time on August 15th. you really did not got your complete independence. And do not forget you lost Independence when foreigners attacked first time in 1100 AD th century. Before blaming our government or security agencies a thought came to my mind that may be government is behind this so that it can shift focus from the ongoing crisis with the left. According to the news agencies the previous blast in mecca masjid was similar and they still haven’t caught the culprits. May be the government is trying to protect the culprits.None of the news agencies have asked this question. Is there anyone with same feeling?
Anyways Condolences to the all the people who lost their life in the blasts. May their soul rest in peace.

First and Foremost my condoloncies to the family who have lost their loved one’s,May God give them peace.I dont know what happend to our hyderabad,Its not safe as it use to be.U never know what will happen next minute.People went to see the lights and not in their worst dreams they would have thought that someone will not return back with them.I think its something to do with the development of Hyd.I racing very face towards development which some people dont want to happen.Anyway.

The other things which irritates me is how our city officals handle the dead bodies.U arent suppose to leave them on the bloody floor..its really bad and worst..see how countires on west or europe, keep in bodybags or in the strechers.We definately need some inprovement on that.

Once again My deepest condoloncies to the relatives and close one of the people who lost they life and thanks for posting these photographs on the website.

This is really one more black day in the history of hyderabad…one more brutal day where more than 40 innocent civilians lost their lives…who ever is behind this brutal act they should know that they can prove nothing with these stupid acts of terrorism….and we cant balme any religion behind this as said by one of the previous comments coz no religion will teach to kill innocent people this is only few crazy people who lost their minds have done this….and as ar as i know this is not the intelligence failure coz i have been following eenadu and central intellence have warned state police of the targetted attacks however unfortunately our state police didnt act accordingly to stop this bloody massacre…

very sad and peace be upon those souls. iam very sad to know this news. all these happens bcoz of the politicians and wealthy bad peoples. a good family people never do these blasts. its the political peoples do thses things. very sad to hear the blasts. the police is the right hand man of politicians . they just listen to the politicians. police always caught the innocent people the police is the chicken. they just want bribes and fill they pockets. what is the use of doing the bomb blasts. shame on the people who do these acts. very sad.

Very sad and horrifying. Now the people are not safe in parks and fast food centers also.I cant help thinking how could these people put bombs in places where lilltle kids and youngsters go.Lumbini park is a place where families go with their little children and gokul is a famous chaat bhandar always filled with college students.I am really sorry for the families who lost their loved ones.
May all their souls rest in peace.Government wake up now atleast.

Its very sad day becuase lot of innocent people died in foolish incident of extremists. I saw CNN-IBN videos, clippings and disussion about the riots of 1993. It was showing as if the Muslims are insecure because of Hindus. And our Honirable central minister Mr.Kapil Sibal made a statement that we did lot of injustice to muslims and all of us should say sorry. Do not you think Hindus are Insecure because of Muslims after this Hyderabad twin blasts incident. Thanks…

2. Stop Giving Election rights to Pakistani’s (u guessed it right) . Becoz all pakistanis cast thier vote only to their pakistani counter part. And party’s like Congress do their level best to make happy to these Pakis terr at the expense of precious lives of indians.

What happened was happened? i have seen people raising their thoughts from different corners. as of my openion, this is a place we got the chance to live, to reach our destinations ( self actualization), please try to understand this, there is no point of escape,what ever pain we generate to others,they got to suffer ultimately. god is not present some where in temple or some where in heaven. god is inside us, so there is no point of harming others to see the salvation. in my openion, the people who are doing these kind of activities should realize that,they are killing innocent people for no reason. this is the time that we ourself got to pray for the foolish ones, who doesn’t have any means of doing these kind of idiotic things for the sake of religion or for selfishness. finally the day will seartainly come that they will repent what they did, and there will be no one to help them ,they got to suffer,even the god can’t help them at that time. we all pray the victims souls with abundant peace, who reached the kingdom of god.

Govt. should declare Red Alert and start raiding each and every Muslim house specially old city definately we can trace lot of muslim terrorists, I am sorry to innocent muslim brothers but this time you have to cooperate with police.
